Masks

Hello neighbors, In order for every one needing a mask to be served by our community sewers it has become necessary to take orders rather than just a serve yourself system. If you would like a cloth mask (free) put your name on the clip board under my front porch at 5900 Hampton St, Pittsburgh, PA 15206 , the number you need for your family or co-workers, male or female or child size and your email of phone number. I will contact you when they are done. Debbie of Songbird Artistry in Lawrenceville just came on board to help me so we will be able to serve everyone. You can pick them up at the same place. These are for your own use and not to be sold. You will need to wash them yourself as I just don't have the time. Thank you. Elisabeth

Donations for Jeremiah's Place

Hello! I'm a social worker at Jeremiah's Place, Pittsburgh's only free crisis daycare. Because of the changes due to COVID-19, we are unable to provide the direct support to the families we serve on a regular basis as well as limiting the donations we can accept. However, we are putting together Grab and Go bags for identified families. These bags will include essential items such as food, toiletries, hygiene products, as well as books, small toys, crafts, and activities for parents. I’d like to take a moment to recommend Joseph Tambellini Restaurant in our neighborhood. We dine there on special occasions but couldn’t recently because of the virus and so we opted for take out from them. We have had to-go from there 3-4 times in the last several weeks and the food is just as amazing to-go as it is always inside the great restaurant. If you follow them on Facebook they post their daily menu with specials starting at $25.00 for a complete dinner and are having a fish fry on Fridays. Missy and Joe Tambellini are independent business owners and truly add to the great HP neighborhood. If you’re looking for a dinner option please consider them, not only will you be happy you did you’ll be supporting a local business. Sent from my iPad

To complement the food distribution program from the Pittsburgh Public Schools, 412 Food Rescue, A+ Schools, Latino Community Center and the City of Pittsburgh are working with Eat ‘n Park and Community Kitchen Pittsburgh to do *BUS STOP FOOD DISTRIBUTION on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. * We will be distributing free grab-and-go meals at specific bus stops to help meet the needs of students and families. Bus routes will be in service between *11am-1pm on Monday, April 6th, Wednesday, April 8th, and Friday, April 10th. *Each route can be found below, and we need your help. 1.
