Howdy Folks, A few notes for ya'.......first our holiday hours....You may or may not know, Giant Eagle and many others will be closed on Easter. We WILL BE OPEN........ FRIDAY 4/10.......6:30 AM-8:00 PM SATURDAY 4/11.......8:00 AM-8:00 PM EASTER SUNDAY......7:00 AM-2:00 PM DELI CLOSES AT 1:00 PLEASE NOTE......Both Breadworks and Mancini's will be closed Easter Sunday so there will be no fresh bread delivered on Sunday.....If there is bread left over from Saturday we will be able to make sandwiches, otherwise not so much. If you would like any bread or buns ordered for Saturday, please call the store no later than noon Friday. OK.....Curbside pick up.....We can do curbside pick up and we will gladly take care of whatever you need to the best of our abilities.....We have not been promoting curbside only because we have been so overwhelmed with everything as far as this pandemic is concerned. More business, bigger deliveries, less staffing, and scrambling to find products anywhere we can. Now having said that, if you would like a curbside pick up, here are a few tips. Call as early in the day as you can, most people are home so this shouldn't be too big of a deal.... Try to have a list or idea in your mind of what we have or what you want. We will do our best to help you. (Most people do) :) DO NOT CALL AT LUNCH TIME PLEASE.....If you have to call in the afternoon, 2:00-4:00 is almost always good. Like I said, we are here to help.....Everyone is stressed to the max including us, if we can lighten your load in some way, we will....... Please, everyone take care of yourselves and your families.......I really appreciate every ones support over the years and most of all, these last so many weeks. Customers everyday thank us for being here and open, and I tell everyone it's a 2 way street. Please be safe from all of us. Summary of recent info on CSA & Food Options

Hi folks, Here is a summary of the information I received yesterday about food delivery and curbside pickup options. I don't want to be remiss in noting that the *Bryant Street Market* has been steadfast as always. 1.Instacart 2. Misfits Market, they deliver weekly. www.misfitsmarket.com If you use the code COOKWME-OS2PTE You will receive 25% off your first order. 3. Tiny Seed Farm still has CSA openings, they’re also doing weekly (I think) pickups at the farm and local deliveries. https://www.tinyseedfarmpgh.com/blog 4. I just signed up last week with Harvie, which offers local CSA, and Imperfect Foods - both w/home deliveries. I haven't received any product yet to offer an opinion on that. I'm expecting my first shipment from Imperfect Foods tomorrow. They offer "boxes" but really you just go online and buy what you want. There were some issues with shortages on basics like eggs, chicken breast. I was still able to get a nice selection of products though. For eggs, meat, milk, and cheese, this service is usually a restaurant supply, but is doing $10 home delivery, and has been good about doing non-contact options. We moved a few of our stops to spaces that offer more weather protection, and also extended our reach into the North Side. As a reminder, this week is spring break for public schools. To complement the food distribution program from the Pittsburgh Public Schools, 412 Food Rescue, A+ Schools, Latino Community Center and the City of Pittsburgh are working with Eat ‘n Park and Community Kitchen Pittsburgh to do *Bus Stop Food Distribution. * We are distributing free grab-and-go meals at specific bus stops to help meet the needs of students and families. Bus routes will be in service on *Wednesday, April 8th and Friday, April 10th. *Each route can be found below, and we need your help getting the word out. Please *SHARE THE ROUTES* and information to your networks, to make sure we reach children and families in need. Every day will include singing, crafts, dancing and games. Sliding scale tuition (affordable for all!) *and* NO payment due upon registration!
