We're looking to replace a toilet in the basement of our 1920's house. It sits loosely on a rotting piece of wood, which needs to be replaced with a cement foundation and real anchors / screws. Any leads and recommendations would be appreciated. Susanne

ISO a Bike beyond repair

I’m looking for a bike for a craft project. Rusty, dirty, old, and broken are all fine, but it needs to have a frame, handle bars and wheels, and tires, even if tires are flat and known to have holes. Adult size is preferred, please. I will dig it out with gloves And mask on if buried, social distance, pick it up, pay or barter, etc. Could I use a bike that works or could be made to work with a little TLC? Sure, but I don’t really want to pay what such a bike is worth during this current COVID time of bicycle scarcity, and somebody probably wants it or needs it more dearly than me. Offer decent ones to FreeRide Pittsburgh.

The Day One Project is looking for childcare workers to watch five 3 year olds on Saturdays from 10am until 12 beginning September 5. The classes go 12 Saturdays but please reach out if you are interested even of you can’t do them all. FYI the kids are awesome! We are happy to pay!
