Thank you for all of the interest in my honey when I posted a few weeks back. Many people were interested in knowing when our fall honey was harvested, so I am back again to let you know that it is ready! Fall honey is dark-colored and rich. I also still have spring honey available, which is light-colored and floral. Please see the order form for all the details. And in the interest of full disclosure, I am only a former Highland Park resident. The honey is from my apiary at my current home in Allegheny Township, which is about 40 minutes NE of Highland Park. Hello fellow HPer's This is very upsetting - but it occured. Someone or more that one went onto private property of homeowners and took MANY political signs - that's one issue - They also took several AMERICAN FLAGS, of various sizes from 4 private homes as well. These were on lawns/porches/driveways and the ones they couldn't run off they sliced and shredded them!!!!! That is unspeakable and just WRONG! This all happened late Saturday night, after 11:00pm to Sunday morning.

From 11 am until 2 pm, you can come and can pick your own pumpkin (one per person, while supplies last). You can also stop by any time during the event to pick-up a free baggie with materials and instructions for creating two Halloween crafts in the comfort of your home with your little trick-or-treaters! Yard Waste Collection is Saturday November 14

Dear Neighbors The City of Pittsburgh offers special curbside collection days twice a year to promote environmentally-friendly disposal of your seasonal yard debris. The city will collect the following items curbside: Leaves Branches (4" diameter or less) Brush Grass Set-Out Items must be in paper bags weighing less than 35 pounds. No plastic bags, please! Bundle all branches with fiber twine or natural rope in lengths of 5 feet or less Set these items out at the curb at your regular collection spot before 6:00 a.m. on the morning of the collection day.
