I had a bird feeder/lawn ornament rebuilt by Larry. It's a St. Francis of Assisi image with three removable birds. He holds a small screened box for the bird seed. It stands about 40" tall and 14" wide. Larry meticulously repairs antique and builds custom furniture. He's a retired US Army Veteran and his wife is disabled. He's friendly and is glad to talk about your ideas. The shop is about 20 minutes from Highland Park. My daughter is part of Three Rivers Junior Rowing and I am a member of the TRJR Boosters. As a fundraiser, we are collecting used sneakers from folks who would otherwise be giving or throwing them away. It is estimated that at least 200 million pairs of shoes and sneakers end up in landfills each year. In keeping with our environmental mission, this fundraiser is the perfect fit.
