We’re looking for an after school babysitter for about a month from mid-May to mid-June, Monday-Wednesday-Friday from 3:20 - 5:00 PM in Highland Park. Our amazing college senior babysitter is graduating, so we need someone to take over for her until the end of the school year. Our kids go to the same school, but with a staggered dismissal time, so you’d pick up the 4 year old from pre-k by 3:25, then wait until the 7 year old gets dismissed from 1st grade at 3:50. You’d bring them home (10-15 minute walk or 3 minute drive - we have car seats), get snack, do homework and play until 5:00 PM. I work from home, so I just walk downstairs at 5:00 and take over. Pay is $15-$20/hour based on experience. We have a very friendly dog too. Join me and other community members for a nice approx 45 minute walk (strollers welcome) around the reservoir at Highland Park starting from the water fountain at 930 am. Looking for a mother's helper / junior babysitter (age 10+) this weekend

Good morning! I'm looking for someone to come and play with my kids (18m and 3 years old) for a few hours this weekend while I get some house projects done. Ideally, someone could come over for about 2 hours each day this weekend. Looking for someone: - who is proactive and can pick out toys, art supplies, etc to get the kids interested in - who is willing to participate in make believe (play kitchen, finger puppets, singing songs) - who has a well-developed sense of safety (ie would be able to recognize when a kid needs help on/off a child's chair) Willing to consider anyone aged 10+. (I am an experienced middle school teacher, so I am happy to work with a younger babysitter & will be home and within earshot the entire time.) Will pay $10+/hr depending on age/experience.
