The 2019 Spring Fling was the HPCC's first neighborhood BBQ - and what a success! Now, after a 2-year, COVID-induced hiatus, it's returning under a new name: *The Highland Park Hullabaloo* Please join us Thursday, June 23rd, 4 - 8 pm, at the Rhododendron Shelter on Stanton Ave. There'll be live music, free food, face painting, door prizes, 50/50 raffle, kids activities, and SO MUCH FUN! The Marketing and Donor Manager (MDM) will oversee all aspects of marketing and communications (direct mail, content creation, calls to action, etc.) and will also manage individual donors and assist with corporate sponsorship strategy. The MDM is an essential part of the Union Project team, connecting UP and the community, building and strengthening relationships, and supporting program growth and UP’s brand. The MDM also assists with aspects of program development from the creation and marketing of the program, to executing and documenting it. The MDM helps to meet the organizational goals directed by the Capitalization Plan and fiscal year budget. I put several bags of variegated Solomon's Seal in the alley at Drake and Springer Ways.I've read that they do best in shade but these ones seem to enjoy the sun, too.I hope someone can use them. :)

Small grey cat

There is a small, all grey cat hanging out in my backyard this morning (North Euclid by the basketball court). They are very friendly, but have no collar. Just wanted to reach out in case anyone's indoor cat strayed too far from home.
