Fire Sense Patio Heater

This Fire Sense umbrella-style, 46000 BTU propane patio heater is essentially new. We assembled and tested it so we know it works (and have spared you the assembly headaches), but it has never been used for more than the 10 min test period. It has a heating range of 18 sqft, uses a standard propane tank which lasts up to 10 hrs (propane not included), and comes with a zippered cover and the manual - a complete package. It weighs about 40 lbs and has wheels - please be prepared to move from patio to your vehicle and transport it (two folks recommended). The umbrella shield can easily be removed for transport and reinstalled. This item is selling new for $225-270, depending on the vedor. October 24 Voter Registration Deadline Approaching Quickly

This is a message from Allegheny Alerts. The Elections Division today reminded residents who wish to vote in the Tuesday, November 8, 2022 election that they must be registered by Monday, October 24, 2022. Registered voters who have moved or changed their name or party affiliation also must notify the Elections Division by October 24. The easiest and fastest way to apply or make a change is by using the state’s online voter registration process at https://vote.pa.gov. Those applicants who have a driver’s license or PennDOT identification card can link their signature on file with PennDOT to their voter record. The record will then be electronically transferred to the Allegheny County Elections Division for processing and approval. Applicants who do not have a Pennsylvania driver’s license or identification card may upload a digital image of their signature or print, sign, and mail the completed online application to the Elections Division. For those individuals who are unable to print the application, they may request that the Pennsylvania Department of State mail them a signature card to complete and return to the Elections Division. All printed online applications and signature cards must be received in the Elections Division no later than 5 PM on October 24. Yesterday's 3rd Annual HPCC Pumpkin Patch was a huge success! People turned out in droves (at least before the Steelers game started!) and every pumpkin was adopted. >From Magistrate Mik Pappas Dear Neighbors and Stakeholders, Access to pretrial justice has become critical to promoting public confidence in the fairness of state and local criminal legal systems. Jurisdictions in all fifty states - including Pennsylvania and Allegheny County - recently have undertaken a vast variety of such "bail reform" initiatives. While we should be grateful for the abundance of this work, we should also respect how challenging it can be for everyone to track and make sense of it all. *That is why I am pleased to be co-hosting a Bail Reform and Pretrial Justice Town Hall and Speak-Out, in collaboration with Civil Rights Corps.
