Hello Neighbor (https://www.helloneighbor.io/) is a Pittsburgh-based nonprofit that works to improve the lives of recently resettled refugee and immigrant families by matching them with dedicated neighbors to guide and support them in their new lives. Hello Neighbor will be resettling up to 250 refugees, immigrants and Afghan Humanitarian Parolees in the upcoming year. In support of its ongoing work, the Highland Park Community Council is again partnering with St. Andrew's for a holiday collection for Hello Neighbor. Hello Neighbor has asked for Cleaning Welcome Kits for their new families, and has specifically requested: - All-purpose cleaner spray - Dish soap - Bathroom cleaners - Kitchen cleaners - Laundry detergent - Sponges or cleaning cloths - Paper towels - Tissues - Trash bags Donations can be dropped off now through Jan 9 in the bin on the porch of the parish house at St. Andrew's, 5801 Hampton Street. Hi neighbors, I’m on the lookout for a used UV light face tanner that you might have sitting around unused and you want to get rid of. I want to use it as a light source for making alternative process photographs. In the summer, I can do these outside in the sunlight, but in the winter, the quality of the light fluctuates so much it is hard. So using a UV light source is preferable. Before I look at purchase one, I was wondering if anyone had one just collecting dust, they would like to sell. Missing cupcake delivery

This is a long shot but we were supposed to receive a delivery of Celiac-safe cupcakes today for a birthday. The tracking says it was delivered at 2 p.m. When I checked our door cam there was a FedEx truck near our house but no one came to the porch. Did anyone receive a package of mystery gluten free cupcakes today? Thanks, Melanie

Right now there are five from Fulton teachers, eight from Obama teachers, and one from a Dilworth teacher, as well as many from other schools in our immediate area.
