Highland Park: Drive to assist refugee families

St. Andrew's Episcopal Church and the HPCC are teaming up for the second year in a row to help new families arriving in Pittsburgh. In 2022, Hello, Neighbor will help 250 refugee and immigrant families coming to Pittsburgh. Each of these families will receive (amongst other things) a cleaning welcome kit. We will be collecting all of the items listed below on the porch of St. Andrew's (5801 Hampton St.) between now and January 9. We are collecting; All Purpose cleaner spray Dish Soap Bathroom Cleaners Laundry Detergent Sponges and cleaning clothes Paper towels Tissue boxes Boxes of Trash Bags Thank you for making Pittsburgh a welcoming place for our new neighbors.

Vintage, in partnership with Shop N Save Rx, will be hosting a pop-up vaccination clinic on Thursday, December 16th, from 10:15-11:45am. First dose COVID-19 vaccinations, and COVID-19 boosters, will be available (both Moderna and Pfizer). In addition, flu vaccine will be available. The Centers for Disease Control recommends that everyone age 18+ receives a booster shot if they are 6 months past the second shot of Moderna or Pfizer, and 2 months past the single shot of Johnson and Johnson. Pfizer boosters are now approved and available for ages 16-17. . No Appointments are Needed. Please bring your insurance card and your vaccination card (if applicable). Vintage is located at 421 N.
