We have a bunch of stuff for free by our backyard. turn onto Weldin Street - the 300 block of N Euclid between Rippey and Rural. Books, DVD/VCR player, light fixtures, ice cream maker, bike rack, men's clothes (Large, pants mostly 36-38), ski bag, etc. It'll be out all day.

family dog needs a new home

Thank you! I adopted Brody almost exactly 9 years ago as a 6 week old puppy from a local animal shelter in West Virginia. Even as an adult dog, Brody has a TON of energy and loves to go on walks and play at the dog park. While Brody did grow up with another dog in the house, he has been living solo for the past 4 years and is very much an alpha dog around others. He is a very sweet and incredibly loving companion and I am looking to rehome him only due to needing to relocate for work. Hi neighbors. The vestry of St. Andrew's Church here in Highland Park is delighted to share with you that we have called a new Rector. The Rev. Christopher Cole will be the sixteenth Rector of our beautiful Church. Chris grew up in North Carolina. He attended the University of North Carolina, Charlotte and the Virginia Theological Seminary. He was ordained in 2012 and spent five years in the Diocese of Atlanta before mostly recently serving as Senior Associate Rector at St. Mary's Parish in Arlington, Virginia. Chris and his wife Alex were married last year. His first Sunday at St. Andrew's will be September 13.

N Euclid Neighborway Info

Hi neighbors, The Euclid Neighborway pilot is in (yay!), and I'm writing to provide some additional information and context. Please see below: - The route now includes wayfinding signs <https://photos.app.goo.gl/KBEnpG73GByHza6x7>, which will help kids get to school and new residents navigate to the Bryant Street business district, Borland Garden, and even the East Liberty farmers market. As part of the city’s Bike(+) Plan <https://pittsburghpa.gov/domi/bikeplan>, it creates a more connected network to community assets such as the Barack Obama Academy, Fulton elementary, the park, future bike lanes on Penn circle, and shops in East Liberty, a huge win for the community. - The street's speed limit has been reduced to 20 mph! Last August, the median speed on Euclid was 25 mph, with 85% percent of cars travelling at 29 mph or less. 44% of car traffic was speeding on Euclid. To give some perspective, if hit by a car going 30 mph, 5 out of 10 pedestrians will be killed. If hit by a car going 20 mph, only 1 in 10 pedestrians will die. Reducing the speed limit decreases the chances of pedestrian death/injury on Euclid. This project is a direct response to Pittsburgh's Vision Zero initiative <https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwi…>, which seeks to eliminate traffic-related injuries and fatalities. - The neighborway is a critical step in meeting the city’s climate goals of reducing transportation-related emissions 50% by 2030. City’s 2030 Climate Action Plan calls for increasing the bicycle mode share to 10% in order to achieve climate goals. Currently bicycle mode share is 2%. By providing safer infrastructure for biking, more people will be inclined to ride, improving air quality <https://www.alleghenycounty.us/Health-Department/Programs/Air-Quality/Air-Q…> and health of the elderly, children, pregnant women and people with heart or respiratory disease. - Lastly, better bicycle infrastructure/more people biking *literally saves you money* through taxes. Each mile travelled by bike *earns *the city 42 cents. The same mile driven by car *costs* the city 20 cents. If you don't believe me, check out Bikenomics by Elly Blue. Did you get our UPS package?

Hi neighbors, Our boys were expecting a special package of handmade clothes and jam from their Grandma today which was delivered, but not to us... Did you get it? It is a smallish box, 7.5 x 6.5 x 4.5 inches, wrapped in brown paper and hand addressed. It was shipped via UPS and is said to have been delivered today, Friday 7/17/2020, at 2:18pm. It was addressed to my husband, Jesse Easudes. We are really hoping it was just accidentally left at the wrong door and can find its way back, with your help, to our door.
