Sorry, but I am not able to answer questions.🐾💙Since October is Pitbull Awareness Month I wanted to showcase one of FFOA’s own...Oscar💙💙His story is heartbreaking he came to us about 5 months ago after he was found living in a crate for most of his life, locked away 24/7 only allowed to come out sometimes to use the bathroom. Oscar came in weighing about 35 pounds, all bones just a skeleton and his poor body had pressure sores all over it from laying in his crate all day 😞but the day we met him all he wanted was to love us. He couldn’t walk because the pads on his feet were so burnt from living in his crate with his own urine. After months of love and food Oscar is now almost 70 pounds and still the friendliest boy with every person he meets. He is finally ready to find his family. He has been neutered, UTD on vaccines, wormed, microchipped and now he is looking for someone to love him for the rest of his life. Oscar needs to be the ONLY animal in the home please and while he does well with all people we would recommend him to go to a family with children a little older, only because he loves to jump up and hug and kiss everyone. This boy has endured the worst start to life I had EVER seen but yet he has nothing to show but love ❤️ Let’s find Oscar his fairytale ending!

Hello Highland Park! We're looking for a seasoned caregiver to help us care for our elderly parents. They are very nice people who live in a large condo in the southside of Pittsburgh. We are seeking help for them for getting dressed, meals, food and prescription shopping. The majority of the time will be spent keeping them company and helping out with basic tasks and activities as needed. Reliable transportation and flexible hours required. We take COVID 19 very seriously and are looking for a person that does too. There will be very little interaction with people besides our parents and me their son as we want to keep everyone safe. For the past decade or more, St. Andrews has participated in the *annual Pittsburgh East CROP Walk* *for hunger* as the major fund-raising event to support Church World Service’s campaign to eliminate hunger, food insecurity and malnutrition globally. Each year, 25% of the funds raised directly support local families in need. This year, participating churches are encouraged to stage small-scale activities in place of the area-wide walk. St. Andrew's has decided to conduct a *2- to 3- mile walk, *with walkers at 6-foot intervals, through Highland Park on* Sunday afternoon, October 11, leaving from St. Andrew's at 2:00 p.m.* You can support the walk in two ways: - *Participate in the walk* with Rev. Cole and other St. Andreans, and, if you choose to do so, *enlist donors* to support the walk - *Make a donation* to support the St. Andrew's CROP Walk Team For further information and/or to volunteer as a walker, fund-raiser and/or donor, *contact Wes Rohrer*, our team leader at wmrun(a)pitt.edu.
