Free fiddle leaf fig cuttings

Hi neighbors! Recently, I had to trim my fiddle leaf fig plants and now I have quite a few leaves and about 2 foot high cuttings that I’d love to give away. If you’ve never grown a plant this way, let me explain: A fiddle leaf fig is the type of plant where you can cut off its leaves at the stem and put them in water and they will grow roots. Then you can plant them again and have a brand new plant! They take a month or two to settle in to their pots and start growing new leafs but its a cheap and easy way to get more plants. Right now I’ve got a lot of leaves and a couple plants in water. If anyone is interested, I’ll have the bowl on my front steps and you can come and take as many as you’d like. Once you get them home, put them in water immediately like cut flowers for a few weeks until they start growing roots. Once the roots appear, they can be planted in soil and your new plant will start growing soon! If you’d like any further instruction, feel free to email me. Curb Alert - Chair, Bed Frame & Cedar Chest

Hi Folks! We are doing some remodeling and have furniture we need to divest this weekend. Free and on the curb at 1125 Winterton - look for the bright green dumpster. Chair & footstool - comfy, does have dog fur on it but should clean up easily enough Ikea Bedframe - wood, includes wood slats for mattress to sit on and two underbed storage drawers Cedar Chest - top is scratched up but still makes great storage piece - not on the curb at the time I'm drafting this email (Sat, 5 pm) - will have down there tomorrow morning. -- Martha Riecks mriecks(a)gmail.com

Looking to unload your handheld vacuum?

Neighbors We recently adopted a very lovely hound/boxer mix whose previous owners obviously allowed her full rights to the furniture. She is sweet and snuggly and so we have changed our standards of dog behavior to accommodate. However, for the sake of our furniture, we need a hand held vacuum for daily hair removal. Before I go out and purchase a new one, does anyone have one lying around that they don't want and would sell to us? A brand new one costs around $40 so looking for something cheaper.
