Yoga Tuesday morning 9/25 and Meditation Wednesday 9/26 evening September
Greetings, Welcome Autumn, the balance point of the light and outward expression of creative energy, and the harvest of all that we have worked to manifest. We begin to reap the benefits of all that we have brought into focus on the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels. A moment of balance and wholeness. We begin to move toward the inner focus of contemplation and introspection. “Yoga is not a religion. It is a science, science of well-being, science of youthfulness, science of integrating body, mind, and soul.” Amit Ray Tuesday morning we will meet in Highland Park to the right of the fountain (weather permitting) for our 8 a.m. yoga class. If it's raining we will meet in the Chapel at the First United Methodist Church on Centre Ave. Class cost is $10 and open to all. Wednesday September 26 is the next meditation class is in Regent Square. Experience various styles of meditation that are practical for everyday living. Benefits of meditation include reducing stress, lowering blood pressure, improving brain function, and aiding overall well being. Class is from 7 to 8 p.m. and is open to everyone. Cost is $10.
