We’re going to knock out a load bearing wall in our house. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on a structural engineer and/or contractor that did a good job with knocking out the wall and adding a beam? Thanks! -Mike Ruhl

We have a relative visiting next week and he was hoping to enjoy some traditional food of the Slovak/Russian variety. We have looked into Apteka and Kavsar, but I thought I would reach out to see if anyone had any other recommendations. Free curtain rods and all hardware. Rods extend to 95”

Free! These two rods have served us well. I don’t know how short they can be when telescoped. I do know they can support sheet panels over two large windows. The finials are round. There is a piece of tape on one. I don’t know what it’s for as the rods came with the house. If you want them, please let me know. We’ll make an arrangement for pickup. The gentleman who has been cutting my grass the past 2 years seems to have disappeared. Is anyone available for a weekly or biweekly cutting through the end of the year? I live in Highland Park and have a small, flat lawn. Thanks
