Posting for a friend: I'm looking for housing for a graduate Portuguese student who will be at CMU mid september to march. Because it is not a standard time for a lease, it is challenging. And he is doing it sort of late in the process of looking. However, if you have any ideas, please let me know. >From our St. Andrew's Outreach Team . . . . ---------- Forwarded message ---------> The African Healing Garden in the East End neighborhood of Larimer is designed to provide a place of solace and meditation for the area's residents and friends, with a special area set aside for educating children about nature and healing. See http://africanhealinggarden.org The transformation of the two-lot space is almost complete, but much work remains. Garden workdays are scheduled for the first and third Saturday of every month, when volunteers weed existing gardens, clear new space, mulch and line paths, and work on the small pond. This *Saturday, August 18th*, is one of scheduled workdays, and you are invited to come by to see the garden and lend a hand if you have the time.Teams will *gather at 10:00 am and work until mid-afternoon*. You can bring your own tools and work gloves, but there will be equipment and gloves available as well. This project has been supported financially through St. Andrew's Outreach Ministries, and several of our St. Andreans are regular workday volunteers. Please join them and come support our East End neighbors, working alongside Larimer's residents to make this space a haven for all to enjoy.
