Flexible childcare for a few weeks starting late September/October

I wanted to put some feelers out there for potential flexible childcare during late September or a some point throughout October. Our childcare provider is expecting and her due date is mid-October. Of course, there is no telling exactly when she will go into labor so we would need a lot of flexibility, and we will have some dates/weeks covered, but will definitely need coverage at other points. My daughter is 2 years old and there is another little one from the daycare (18 months old) who also needs coverage at certain points. We are thinking roughly 8am-4:30pm for the days that we end up needing help, 4 days per week (Monday thru Thursday). They could watch the children at my home or somewhere else. I'd also be fine with a nanny share situation or with a mom already watching her little ones at home. Thanks in advance for any leads/suggestions!

The heels 👠 will be painted and used to create a holiday decoration. 900 Mellon Yard Sale Saturday 8/25

A few neighbors on the 900 block of Mellon Street are having yard sales this Saturday, August 25th, from 9 am - 3 pm. There are 4 folks who have agreed to have a yard sale, and I am hoping for 1-2 more. So there should be lots of stuff to come and buy. I am trying to clean stuff out of my house that has been filling it up for 10-20 years. I hate to part with anything, since I may need it some day, but maybe someone needs it starting Saturday. I do not know what anyone else is selling, and I am just figuring out what I am selling, so come on down/over/up to the 900 block of Mellon (between Jackson and Wellesley) and join in the surprise. You may even see something you thought you threw out that ended up in my house. If you have not been to the 900 block of Mellon in a while, come and check it out. There are no longer stores on the street, several of the buildings have been redeveloped, 3 new houses are being built (they are close to starting), and there is much less traffic and noise. Folks say this is good, but I am still on the fence (and I may have a piece of fence to sell). Take a walk or drive down Mellon and check it out for yourself. If you are looking for anything in particular, let me know on Saturday. I just may have it, even if I could not get to it yet. See you on Saturday.
