A few neighbors on the 900 block of Mellon Street are having yard sales this Saturday, August 25th, from 9 am - 3 pm.  There are 4 folks who have agreed to have a yard sale, and I am hoping for 1-2 more.  So there should be lots of stuff to come and buy. I am trying to clean stuff out of my house that has been filling it up for 10-20 years.  I hate to part with anything, since I may need it some day, but maybe someone needs it starting Saturday.  I do not know what anyone else is selling, and I am just figuring out what I am selling, so come on down/over/up to the 900 block of Mellon (between Jackson and Wellesley) and join in the surprise. You may even see something you thought you threw out that ended up in my house. If you have not been to the 900 block of Mellon in a while, come and check it out.  There are no longer stores on the street, several of the buildings have been redeveloped, 3 new houses are being built (they are close to starting), and there is much less traffic and noise.  Folks say this is good, but I am still on the fence (and I may have a piece of fence to sell).  Take a walk or drive down Mellon and check it out for yourself.
