Doors Open Pittsburgh provides behind-the-scenes experience, some cool experience or just the opportunity to explore a collection of iconic and newly designed buildings in Pittsburgh. The third annual Doors Open Pittsburgh will include the Downtown and the Northside. We will need 350 volunteers to help make this event possible over the weekend of October 6 & 7, 2018. What do you have to do to volunteer? * Request the day/time and the building you would like to volunteer for * Attend a 1-hour training session at a location convenient to you, 1-2 weeks prior to the event * During the event, serve for 3 ½ hours (9:30a-1p OR 1p-4:30p). Volunteer roles include: Greeter, Docent, Zone Coordinator, Event Center Help To show our appreciation, DOP will give you: * A snappy-looking Doors Open Pittsburgh volunteer t-shirt * Free admission to the event for you and a guest, with front-of-the-line privileges * An invite to the post-event celebration Volunteer registration closes August 31.
