Free, Kid-Friendly Concert at Fulton Elementary

Hi neighbors, Join us for a free concert at Fulton Elementary this Tuesday, March 20, featuring local music ensemble NAT 28 (and a pay-what-you-can Bake Sale with baked goods from La Gourmandine and coffee from Tazza d'Oro - all proceeds benefit Fulton's PTO). Details below and in attached flier. When: March 20 at 5:30 pm. We expect the concert to last 30-45 minutes. Where: Fulton Elementary, 5799 Hampton Street Who: NAT 28, Pittsburgh's own contemporary music ensemble. Presented by the European Studies Center at the University of Pittsburgh. What: The musicians will perform their own selections as well as pieces Fulton students helped them compose last week. Why: Fulton is a French emphasis neighborhood and magnet school, and this collaboration is a part of NAT 28's week of French-American outreach. Dear neighbors Should you see a nefarious character gliding along our fair streets on a dark green canondale bike, feel free to flip him/her the bird. Then call the police. This person decided to unlatch our gate, enter our back yard, accessible through an alley (Casanova way), and steal my husband’s bike. The bike he uses to commute to work. Stolen package

Hello all, Just a heads up that a package was stolen off my back doorstep yesterday (Friday) evening. This door is not visible from the street (N Negley), and I was outside less than 10 minutes after the package was marked “delivered”. So I believe someone either saw the delivery or was following the Amazon van and picked it up immediately after it was delivered. I’ve seen a few postings about package thefts lately and wanted to notify/remind everyone that Amazon has a pickup location in Oakland. Prime orders arrive next-day and they have free parking. I haven’t personally been there but I think it will be my go-to after this experience. -Will
