New Pittsburgh Bike Plan - Open for Comments

The City of Pittsburgh is working on plans for a new Pittsburgh Bike Plan. But before the Bike Plan can be finished, they need to hear from you! The plan includes Highland Park so I suggest you at least visit the site and see what they have in mind. You can also add comments if you have an opinion or think you have a better idea. I have created some instructions below, just in case you have trouble navigating it. You can use your curser/hand tool, which is already active when you enter the site, to move the map to Highland Park – a screen capture is also attached. To make comments, click on “Points” in the navigation and select “Comment” as shown below. Missing package (halloween costumes)

We never received a package that was supposedly delivered on Friday (with my daughters' halloween costumes inside). Did anyone get it by mistake? It would be a big Tyvek priority mail envelope addressed to Mattie and Ellie Da Costa. Worth a try! Once someone returned a package to us that was delivered to the wrong address. Alternately, does anyone have any five year-old size witch and/or black cat costumes or components they'd like to donate/sell...? Thanks! Hilary

I immediately called the elections division and left a message informing them of this error. I encourage everyone else who receives this letter to do the same, so that hopefully a corrective letter can be sent out before Election Day. Everyone deserves a fair and clear opportunity to vote on Election Day, without being given confusing information about polling locations. This is especially true for the community center, because it only opened a few months ago and some people might not be aware of its existence yet.
