I'm moving to Singapore to start a postdoctoral position so I need to sell all my furniture! Always wanted to know how to preserve those awesome mushrooms, tomatoes, strawberries, blueberries and other produce while it's in season and available from your garden (or for a much lower price via farmers markets)? Well, then, this is the class for you!!! We'll learn multiple techniques for dehydration & drying of your in-season treasures, grown or purchased! Expensive, store-bought hydrators are NOT necessary, though we will talk about, and learn to utilize one. But that's only one method. Almost all techniques will involve no additional cost--utilizing items easily found within your home! We'll even make our own flower-presses!!!! Dear Neighbors, I woke up this morning to find a large box of textbooks, empty three ringed binders, and desk calendars on the wall in front of my LittleFreeLibrary. Please do not leave your unwanted text books and office supplies on the stone wall for me. First, the main goal of the Library is to circulate books throughout the neighborhood. I like that! Second, please do not leave your unwanted items for me to discard. That's not my job. I went through the books and found one name - Jessica Olsen. carpet installation?

I have a carpet remnant and padding to be installed wall-to-wall in a 10 x 13 room. The tackless strips are down so all I need is the padding put down and the carpet stretched. The place I got the carpet can’t do it for 3 weeks so I’m wondering if anyone knows an independent carpet layer who might be able to get it done sooner. Shouldn’t take too long—and I’ll be ready for it by Thursday of this week.. thanks for any suggestions Elisabeth
