Full time daycare spot open in highland park

I have a full time daycare spot opened! I am open from 7:30 am to 5pm, it is a hands on in home daycare with over 7 years of experience with children from 3 months to 6 years, cpr and first aid training, a degree in early education and am licensed under the state. I am dedicated to not only taking care of the children but beginning their learning experience with preschool curriculum based on the child/childrens age. I watch the children in the lower level of my house which is remodeled just for the daycare so that the children have nothing of danger they could get into, and focus a lot of my time on art work, crafts, reading, outdoor time, music and exercise. Exterminator

'Something' has been digging either from the ground into our garage or vise-versa! Every morning there is a pile of dirt at our garage door and there is a hole. Last night we cleared all the dirt out and this morning it was all dug out. Not sure where we go from here. Any suggestions/help would be most welcomed. Fall-planted bulbs, anyone?

Hey, neighbors! I'm planning to order some bulbs for myself. I thought I'd check and see if anyone else was interested. We could join up, save money on shipping, and possibly get discounts! I'm getting anemones, hostas, allium and lilies. I'd also be happy to add on daffodils, croci, fritillaria, peonies, Hyacinth, other fall-planted items. I'd split up what I received into individual, labeled orders for everyone (and you'd still pay less than at the box stores!) Nothing would be delivered or payable until fall. Reservoir of Jazz on Sunday, August 20th

Hi Neighbors and Friends, I hope you were able to get up to the park to see Craig Davis and his combo perform at Reservoir of Jazz last Sunday. This Sunday, Max Leake will be performing, courtesy of the City of Pittsburgh Office of Special Events and the Highland Park Community Council. The weather is looking pleasant, sunny and in the mid-80’s. Bring your lawn chair and and relax in the park. The performance begins at 5pm and concludes at 7pm. Our performer for this Sunday is jazz pianist, composer and arranger Max Leake. Max Leake began his musical training at age six. By the time he was 15, he was working with local Pittsburgh bands and backing up national acts in local supper clubs. At the age of 18, Max was traveling around the country with acts such as the “Ink Spots” and the “Marcels”. Max has been recording, composing, arranging and performing for 35 years with some of the best jazz and blues artists in the world including Roger Humphries, Stanley Turrentine, Rick Margitza, Dwayne Dolphin, Henry Johnson, Rebecca Parris, Billy Price, Joe Negri, Sandy Staley, the Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild Orchestra, Tommy Tedesco, David “Fathead” Newman, Don Latarski, Al Dowe and Etta Cox and the Balcony Big Band, just to name a few. He was voted “Best Jazz Keyboardist” in the “In Pittsburgh” music awards in 1989, 1991 and in 1995.
