Hello, Neighbors. There is a beautiful old oak tree in front of Elm Grove on Lake Drive in the park, and lately I have noticed a brown, weepy-looking area near the base of the trunk. If this is something that can be addressed--and thus perhaps prevent loss of the tree--I'd like to try to start the ball rolling on that, but have no idea where to begin. In the interest of not being passed along through an array of city offices, I thought I'd reach out and ask if anyone has certain knowledge of whom I should contact. Thanks very much! Diane

Please let me know if anyone is searching for a part-time nanny starting in August or thereafter. I have years of experience, excellent references, up-to-date clearances, CPR and first aid training. I also have a reliable car and two forward-facing/rear-facing child car seats and also one booster if any are needed. I enjoy being with infants through teenage years and taking them places like the library, playgrounds, science center, museum, on long walks and anywhere else that the parents approve of while I am there.
