Garden class tonight: Faerie Gardens! 6:30-8:30 pm

Hello, neighbors! Faerie Gardens are GREAT fun for kids and adults! They can involve as much or as little maintenance as you desire, and they're just darned pretty! Tonight I'll be showing how to make small dish gardens, with the sky being the limit on where your creativity could lead. I generally use the Terra Cotta or plastic saucers that come with planters for my gardens, although I've also used Bonsai pots in the past. For plants, I've used a variety of succulents, mosses and small ground covers. Decorations can be anything from craft-store-bought miniature items to pretty stones, coral to driftwood, beads to bugs. It's YOUR Faerie Garden, do what you want! I will have a limited number of plants available, so if you have some of your own, please bring them. Also, please bring your own saucers/dishes, decorations and ideas. Class is $10/person, payable by check, cash, PayPal or credit. No cost to anyone in a fixed income or assistance. Tonight's class will meet in my backyard, NOT in the regular classroom. Please let me know if you plan on attending so I have enough chairs outside. Also: class will be cancelled if there is poor weather, so I'll need to know who's coming to keep you informed. My Widowed sister in law needs a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment in the East Liberty, Highland Park, Garfield, Morningside, Pt Breeze, Wilkinsburg or Homewood areas. Employed steadily at 1 job for 31 yearsMay or may not have college aged son living with her if she can afford a 2 bedroom. 1 small dog and Cat she would like to keep but can sacrifice if absolutely necessary to rent with you.Prefers not to be in low income housing or large apartment building Prefer to have laundry available on site. Budget approximately 750 with utilities included or 650.00 + utilities. that includes pet fees but can pay extra pet deposit up front.if needed.Please contact me with any leads on places to rent. She has been looking for something suitable for months since she lost the house she was renting because it was sold.
