Hi all, Can someone point me to the right person/agency to ask about using the Farmhouse porch? I've seen families host gatherings on it. It's not listed through Pittsburgh park rentals online, and I'm having trouble reaching someone on the phone through the parks office (Leslie Knope would have something to say about that). Burglary and car thefts

Wanted to notify Highland Park residents that our home on Wellesley near Heberton was robbed early Wed. morning while we were home in bed. Thieves entered through side screen window and left with purse containing wallet etc. and 2 sets of cars keys. Both of our vehicles were taken. Police investigating. Keep your windows locked. Parish and Neighborhood warmly invited and encouraged to join us at St. Andrew's on Friday evening, September 23rd, at 8 p.m., for the 19th Annual St. Andrew's Lecture. Please mark calendars now! Our featured speaker this year, and we are exceptionally honored to welcome him, will be the Most Rev. David A. Zubik, Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh. In the nine years since his installation as the 12th Bishop of the diocese Bishop Zubik has been known as both a strong pastoral leader and as a collaborative and dynamic presence within the wider community. The theme of Bishop Zubik's presentation will center on the "Era of Pope Francis" and the present state and future directions of ecumenical and interdenominational relationships both globally and locally, here in Pittsburgh. Bishop Zubik's presentation will be followed by a brief question-and-answer session. We will then have the opportunity to greet him informally and to enjoy a dessert reception. We are also invited on Saturday morning, September 24, to "continue the conversation," as a panel of Pittsburgh ecumenical leaders will respond to Bishop Zubik's remarks, with general discussion to follow. Refreshments 9 a.m., Program 9:30 a.m. - 12 noon. The St. Andrew's Lecture is presented without charge and with invitation to all. Please feel free to share this e-mail.
