Please join us TONIGHT for the HPCC August Monthly Meeting - Thursday, August 18th at 7:00 p.m. at St. Andrew's Church. All Highland Parkers are encouraged to attend. Commander Lando will begin the meeting with an update on the shooting on Bryant Street and will take any questions you may have. We also have a great line-up of speakers for the evening: Jessica Bowser Acrie will give a tutorial on using LinkedIn: Building Your Best Online Professional Presence. Erin Potts, Pittsburgh Bike Share Director of Marketing & Community Outreach Healthy Ride Expansion Planning will also be on hand to discuss the Healthy Ride Expansion Planning currently underway. The September meeting focuses on HPCC board elections. If you like what we do in the neighborhood and want to become more involved, please come to the August meeting on Thursday or reach out to myself or another board member. Every year three board members rotate off the board and three more are elected so we are always looking for neighbors who want to get involved. Hornets Nest at Farmhouse Playground

Some of our children were caught in a swarm of hornets yesterday morning at Farmhouse. They appeared to be ascending out of the ground beneath the entrance platform of the toddler play structure.
