Dear Neighbors, Below is information about a wonderful Sunday night yoga class. This Sunday (6/12) is the last class in the Spring session, and the 10-week summer session will start the following week, 6/19, if enough people sign up. I encourage you to drop in on this Sunday's class so that you can decide whether to sign up for the summer session. It's a fantastic class with a knowledgeable and caring teacher and a great group of regular students - a real community. Come check it out! *Sunday Yoga with Adrienne* *Where:* First United Methodist Church (Centre and Aiken) *When:* 10 Sundays, 6/19 - 8/28 (no class 7/3), from 6-7:15 p.m. *Cost:* $130 for the 10-week session or $15 drop-in rate ($115 for new students) *Description: *This mixed-levels yoga class is perfect for healthy beginners and intermediate practitioners. The overall session and each class will have a physical and philosophical theme. My good friend and accomplished artist has just moved to the neighborhood and is looking to pick up odd jobs on the side. She is has references and all clearances and has an eight year old daughter. She wants to offer both private and group art lessons at a reasonable and competitive price. She is also looking for cleaning jobs and has flexible hours for babysitting as well. She lives in a smaller attic style loft apartment and would want to babysit in the parent's home, she's within walking distance to all of Highland Park being located on Mellon Street. Her art lessons (she has worked with my daughter in the past) include a variety of immersion techniques, field trips to the cemetery, local parks, the zoo, etc.. She is already very excited about the communal aspect of this particular neighborhood and is looking forward to joining the list serve!
