FREE window air conditioner

Free Maytag 6,000 BTU window air conditioner. Model MGX06F2A. The problem is the compressor doesn’t come on so it doesn’t actually produce cool air. The fan part works! Maybe just a wire has come loose! We inherited 3 of these when we bought our house, and the other 2 still work great. I think they are about 7 years old. If you are handy, you could probably fix it easily. I don’t need it or want to deal with getting it fixed, so it is free to whoever wants it! -Todd

petsitter?

Hello HP neighbors, I was hoping someone could recommend me a vacation petsitter? We have a lot of animals, including chickens, and are hoping to find someone who can take on all of them when we’re out of town. Some details so that potentially-interested folks are not surprised by the list: - 2 frogs, feed daily, add tank supplements weekly - 3 senior cats, one of whom needs daily meds - 2 dogs, who can be boarded if necessary but we’d prefer not to, need to go out 3x/day - 3 chickens, eggs need to be collected daily, multi-day feeder & waterer only needs to be checked/refilled as necessary Any leads appreciated! —laura
