Missing Dog - Red w/ Green Collar

Run for a Reason!

Hi Highland Park, EECM (in East Liberty) is an official partner charity of the Dick's Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon. We are building our charity running team - and I know how active HPers are! By joining EECM's Run for a Reason team and doing a little fundraising for us, you get free entry into the race, a personal fundraising page on Crowdrise, a ton of support from EECM, and some other fun perks we will announce soon. A charity team is a great way to run in the marathon - and thousands of Pittsburghers do it each year. Support a charity in our area and get in shape - win/win for everyone. For those of you who may not know, EECM is in East Liberty and works to fight the devastating effects of generational poverty. We have an on-site homeless shelter and offer employment and education training for those who are looking to develop job skills. We also have a Food Pantry and offer a free lunch to those in need. And finally, we have a robust children and youth program where we work with children in poverty to avoid gang life, drugs, and violence. We provide educational support in and after school, creative arts opportunities, tutoring, and summer camp.
