Dear Neighbors - I was wondering if anyone has dealt with a situation similar to the one we are facing and if so, could offer some guidance. We have a gravel pit in our backyard used to absorb the rainwater for the back of our home. The pit is no longer working and needs to replaced and we are looking for a green and affordable way to deal with the problem. I've had three different suggestions from plumbers, one of which involved tying into the sewer system which I know the city does not want residents to do. Any guidance is appreciated. My friend is having a "pre-YARD-sale" on Saturday, the day before the HP Yard Sale (in which she is participating on Sunday as well). She and her daughter have joined forces with mostly new or almost new household goods. The will start on Saturday at 3 pm until 5 or so. Drive up the hill from Highland to 1318 N. Sheridan. --
