Mental Health First Aid, Sunday Sept. 28,12:30 pm, East Liberty Presbyterian Church One in four Americans lives with a mental health problem. Yet, up to two-thirds go without treatment. Just as CPR helps you assist an individual having a heart attack — even if you have no clinical training — Mental Health First Aid helps you assist someone experiencing a mental health related issue. Susan Harrington, Education and Support Specialist at NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Southwestern PA will discuss the importance and components of Mental Health First Aid. The University of Pittsburgh Center for Family Planning Research is looking for postmenopausal women, between the ages of 45-65, who want to help women through an important research safety study of a vaginal ring to prevent HIV. Women will have 5 visits at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC and complete 2 phone calls over approximately 5 months. Bike Stolen from Bakery Square

Hi Neighbors! Our friend Gordon Kirkwood had his bike stolen last night from bakery square - it is a very distinctive orange bike with lots of custom features. He will be following all of the appropriate channels he has to report and try to recover his bike. In the meantime, please keep an eye out for it, being ridden around the East End or in any potential sales. a picture is a attached. Orange Jamis Nova, with VERY UNIQUE markings: blue reflective tape covered down tube, looks like frame made of neon at night when light shines on it. aero bars with a squeak-horn and a pink metal bell, rear panier rack, Brown Brooks leather saddle, Campagnolo triple crank. Custom wooden derailleur hanger on down tube.
