Hi Highland Park, This Sunday the SalSamba Latin Jazz Group is performing at the Reservoir of Jazz from 5pm to 7pm. Bring your family, some lawn chairs and a picnic dinner — enjoy a great concert in your very own Highland Park. Here is a 2010 Post-Gazette article about SalSamba. The Highland Park Community Council will have children's activities — the kids can visit the face painter (Free!) and craft table to make their very own artwork. While you are enjoying the concert, consider having a fruit or Nutella-filled crepe from Paris 66. Kathy and I had the apricot and strawberry crepes last weekend and they were wonderful.

Looking for: twin mattress & pavers

Hi, We've just moved into Highland Park from Australia with 3 boys, 5 years old and under with another baby boy due in 3 weeks time! We're trying to set up our house and are just wondering if anyone has a twin mattress they want to get rid of or sell cheaply. And does anyone have pavers they don't want? Artist needs rope

Hi Neighbors Im working on an art show and I am in need of large hemp type rope, brown like a tree, not white. In the past Ive been able to find it at yard sales and such but I am running out . I wonder if anyone has any in their garages or basements that they would be willing to part with . It needs to be 1" or larger . Barge rope would be fantastic if it were brown but its not , ( just giving an example) I can pick it up or you can drop it off at 5825 Elgin St the house with the blue bottle tree in the yard .....and thanks to those who put blue bottles on my porch from time to time , if theyre not on tree #1 then they are in the back on tree # 2! Much appreciated Thank you LaVerne I can use some rope right now but will be working on this project for the next year
