Driving home last night I had to swerve around about 10 police cars by the crime scene on Chislett...enough officers were walking up to and around 'the neighbors' house in such a way that whoever they were going for wasn't going to be able to say 'no'...they were knocking on the door as I drove past. We watched the news but didn't see anything...perhaps more evidence was found? Anyone know anything about this? DaveP Chislett St

I got one of these for 2014. Initially I thought it was for the current tax year but it's for the upcoming year. I suspect there will be a lot of these being sent out in the weeks to come. I believe there were a lot of emails last year when the reassessments were being done so I'll be looking back over those emails. Someone I know used a lawyer successfully at the appeal hearing, but I'm not yet sure how much of a drastic measure that is. I'd certainly appreciate hearing anyone's experiences about this process.
