Hi neighbors, A while back I asked for recommendations for heating and cooling contractors. I am very delinquent in sharing the results, but here they are. Many many thanks to my awesome neighbors. Susan Tedesco Heating & Cooling (Paul Tedesco) in HP. 412-441-7747. (5 recommendations) Very positive reviews. Tudi, www.tudi.com, (2 recommendations) The following had 1 recommendation each: Sam Bales Plumbing 412-421-1575. They're a father/son team and do great, professional and clean work. Used them about 2 weeks ago to get our boiler in shape and am quite satisfied. Beam Heating from Pitcairn is an excellent company and their charges are fair. My brother owns Bloom Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning in Gibsonia. He works in the area often and has been in business for over 25 years. His business number is: 724-443-6000 Brody's Heating and Air, http://www.brodysheatingandair.com/ Buerkle Heating and Plumbing in Bloomfield Chuck Demore. He is low-cost and does a great job. He did our whole house reno. Gregg's heating and cooling Tel. 412-486-9505. They put new energy efficient furnace and later separate air- conditioning system in my house and I was very pleased with their work. JRB Cooling and Heating. Don't know their number but Jeff is great. Call Dave Juran from Juran Heating and Cooling at 412-322-2134. He has performed work for a number of my clients with rave reviews. Metro Heating & Cooling Restano Heating and Cooling are excellent!!! Saure Brothers I've been really pleased with Titan HVAC. We moved into a house on Grafton less than a year ago. The name was stickered on the A/C. They charged $90 for cleaning the A/C and again $90 for my boiler 6 months later. [Highland Park] Spring Inquirer Class Reminder!

[StAndrewDOOR] ST. ANDREW'S 101: A SURVEY COURSE: Each Spring around St. Andrew's we like to offer a short "Inquirer Course" for those who would like a brief and focused introduction--both for those who may be new to the community and for those who may have been around for a while, and even a long while, who might desire a "refresher." This will be an especially good opportunity for those who may wish to prepare to be Confirmed or Received into the Episcopal Church when Bishop McConnell visits on May 18. The Inquirer Course will begin on Wednesday evening, March 19, with an overview of the basics of Christian belief. On Thursday evening, March 27, we will discuss the history and heritage of the Anglican family of churches. On Wednesday, April 2, we'll take a look at the history and character of our Episcopal Church. On Wednesday, April 9, we will focus on St. Andrew's Church--our history, our common life and worship, our mission and ministry. Finally, on Wednesday, April 30, we will take a look specifically at the "Rites of Initiation" in the Book of Common Prayer--Baptism, Confirmation, and Reception into the Episcopal Church. Each session will meet in the Upstairs Conference Room of the Old Rectory. Each will begin at 7 p.m., and we'll be on our way home by or before 8:30 p.m. Participants are invited to come for all sessions, or for as many as are of interest and convenient.
