Hi neighbors, Thanks for your recommendations for a dermatologist, and I wanted to share the results and comments below. Thanks again, Susan Dr. Melanie Costa (4 recommendations): -Melanie Costa, 4727 Friendship Ave. (near West Penn Hospital) 412-683-5211. Both from personal experience and her recognition as "one of the best" in WQED' s Pittsburgh Magazine a couple of years ago. Dr. Mary Sheehan/Shadyside Dermatology (3 recommendations): -Shadyside Dermatology on Aiken by Shadyside Hospital is where I go. I can't remember the doctor I saw, but I had a great experience when I needed some moles checked out and removed. -I love Mary Sheehan but you sometimes have a hard time getting an appt with her. Once you are in though she does not rush you and is really helpful. -I recommend Lisa Pawelski (in Monroeville) or Margaret Sheehan (in Shadyside). I saw Melanie Costa for a short time, but do not recommend her. You may already know this, but no matter who you decide to go to, you will probably wait 6 months for an appointment. Dr. Rebecca Caserio (2 recommendations): -Dr. Caserio's group at Fox Chapel Dermatology is the best. I usually see the PAs there, but they've helped me a lot.
