[Highland Park] Lost Bike Lock

Hey neighbors! I lost my bike lock on the way to work yesterday morning when it fell off my frame on Stanton Ave. I was going down into Morningside from Stanton Heights and it fell off near Morningside and Jancey Aves. I will be moving in a couple of weeks so I really want to get rid of everything! MAC OS X desktop, GENTLY USED, and already has Microsoft office 2011 & iTunes!- $300 I am also a photographer and selling a lot of my prints as well!!! All prints (framed)- $10/each!!! Hi, I have a bunch of clothes I just took out of storage that I'd like to hand wash, but I need some sort of drying rack in order to dry them. If someone has a rack (like one in the attached picture) that I could borrow for a week (will probably get to it this weekend) I would really appreciate it! Thanks! [Highland Park] Griffin - the Big Bad Blue Boy

The minute I hit send on the post about Griffin, I regretted it. Thought you would see me as a whiny old woman. Surprise! I received a dozen supportive emails. Some people were also living with and training an adolescent dog. Some had also had problems with joggers and cyclists. Some just cheered me on with my goal of a sound therapy dog. Thank you! Griffin was a star in his training class tonight. He changes day to day. Brilliant one moment and bananas the next. The body is maturing - the brain is left behind. My previous therapy Cardigans were dream girls. So gentle. Loved everyone. Griffin will get there. My first boy - and boys are so different. Hoping to see you on the street - and helping me give Griffin a new lesson in calmness and kindness. Jan PS: A story about Daphne, my first Cardigan. We visited a group of developmentally disabled children. I was warned that one child was terrified of dogs. I said, "OK, Daphne will always be on lead, and I will keep her away from that child." At the end of the session, that girl walked up to me and asked to pet my dog. She touched Daphne. A look of wonder came across her face. She said, "She is so soft!" That child suddenly loved dogs. I was crying. The girl's teachers were crying. YES, that is why I do therapy dogs! I can't tell you the number of times I had to pull my car over and park on the way home because I was crying too hard to see the road. Therapy dogs work miracles. Train your dogs. Let them reach out.
