Reporting it to the police probably won't get your possessions back but it will give the Bureau a more accurate sense of the number and types of crimes being perpetrated in the neighborhood. Hello neighbors, Sometime last night or early this morning, someone went through my car parked on the street and took an olive green colored leather messenger bag. It didn't have anything of significant value inside. I'm a social worker and it was filled with crayons and therapy books and paperwork, but the bag was expensive and meant a lot to me. I'm hoping by chance the person who took it realized there was nothing worth keeping in it and tossed it somewhere. If anyone happens to see it, please let me know.
