I am the Camp Director for QAMP (www.dreamsofhope.org/camp) a youth camp for gay, lesbian, bi, transgendered youth and allies that takes place on Cheat Lake outside of Morgantown WV from August 19th-23rd. We are in need of a young female , 19-23 years old to come to camp as a Counselor in Training (CIT). This is not a paid job, but we provide transportation to and from camp, room and board at camp. The CIT will be responsible for participating in all activities and helping get the campers excited and engaged, and providing an extra set of eyes for the counselors. [Highland Park] Fresh Access Program at Local Farmers Markets

Just Harvest is proud to bring you "Fresh Access," a program enabling food stamp (SNAP) shoppers to use their benefits at two weekly Pittsburgh CitiParks Farmers Markets. Pittsburgh's farmers markets have long been a popular source of seasonal, locally produced, nutritious and affordable food. However, many local residents are not familiar with the markets or view them as unaffordable for low-income households. Now, in addition to helping people apply for SNAP benefits, Just Harvest's "Fresh Access" program can also broaden food stamp recipients' shopping choices while supporting regional farmers. Our program will be piloted at the North Side and East Liberty markets, with plans to expand to all seven city-run sites, which run through November. The program will utilize a token kiosk, allowing SNAP users to swipe their EBT card and receive wooden tokens, which work like cash at the market and are redeemable with all participating vendors. The token kiosk also accommodates credit and debit card users, who will be asked to contribute $1 per transaction to help cover program costs. We are seeking after-school care for our two girls ages seven and ten. Care is needed three days a week, and includes picking up the children at school and bringing them to our home in Highland Park. Although our children attend a neighborhood school (Dilworth), wheeled transportation is desirable for some (or most) days. Total care time will typically be about 2 hours each of the three days. Clearances, references, and a safe driving record are required.
