My daughter's Verizon phone died a few months before her upgrade date. I'm looking for a Verizon non-smartphone to use at least until then. If you have one you no longer need and would like to sell for cheap (or free), please email mhrh1(a)yahoo.com. Any brand is fine, but it needs to have been used with Verizon service as other providers use a different technology. Thanks!

I am probably preaching to the choir, but based on my experience during the last week or so, I would like to remind some users of the mailing list that courtesy and manners do matter. It is OK if you are not from the area and subscribe to the HP list, however, please do not expect people to drive all over Pittsburgh to bring you something when you ask for free items and know that you do not own a car. If Highland Park is too much of a problem for you to pick up stuff, don't ask its residents, ask in a nearer location. If you say that you will pick up something on a certain day, please show up, do not email two days later saying that you will pass by on another certain day. Likewise, when someone posts an offering and you want what they have, refrain from sending multiple emails in a few minutes asking "did you get my email yet? Why didn't you answer? This is the 3rd mail I sent you". It is just rude, some people are busy and cannot or want not to answer every email they get asking for the item offered. Politeness and respect do go a long way. I got this iPad for Christmas and just haven't opened it yet because I just use my laptop exclusively. It cost $550 in December when it was purchased, now retails for $499. I am in need of two things. If anyone happens to have these things lying around I would be so grateful! Looking for a child bike seat, either that fits in front or behind. The front ones are super cool but would be happy with either. Let me know if you are willing to lend for the summer or give me a sale price. Also, we are traveling to Hawaii in two weeks and I am looking for one of those five point harness seatbelt contraptions that hook into airplane seats for toddlers.
