[Highland Park] How to Update Your Cell Phone to All Local Towers - Useful Information

I thought that this information would be useful to everyone, especially with the summer here and most of us traveling! *While traveling, cell phone users often face the problem of having their phones lose signal when they enter new regions. This is a problem that service providers are constantly combating, with more than 3,500 new cell towers being built each year. While some areas receive better signals than others, it<http://www.ehow.com/how_5959192_update-cell-phone-local-towers.html?utm_sou…> is possible to reprogram one’s cell phone so that it more efficiently utilizes the cell towers in the area. The process is slightly different for each service provider.* Instructions 1. - 1 For Verizon users: Turn on your phone. Dial *22899 and click "Send." You will hear music and, after several seconds, a voice will say, “Please continue to hold while your phone is being programmed.” You will then hear a series of beeps, and the words “Programming Successful<http://www.ehow.com/how_5959192_update-cell-phone-local-towers.html?utm_sou…>” will appear on your phone’s display. Depending on your style of phone, you phone may automatically turn off, then back on. If not, the process will be complete when the call ends, and your phone will be updated to the local towers. - 2 For Sprint users: Turn on your phone. Dial *18 and click "Send." You will not hear a ring, but rather two short tones. When these tones end, the process is complete. You can hang up your phone, as it is now updated to the local towers. - - 3 For AT&T and T-Mobile users: Network updates are sent to your cell phone automatically. Once received by your phone, these updates will take place when your phone is turned off and then back on. At this time, there is no feature that informs you when your phone has received such updates, but it is generally done so rather frequently. You also have the option of calling your service provider and asking acustomer service<http://www.ehow.com/how_5959192_update-cell-phone-local-towers.html?utm_sou…> agent to re-sync your phone to local towers. Hello neighbors, the roses are blooming and the gardens look beautiful, but the weeds keep growing. We will be meeting for our every other Wednesday weeding of the Entrance Gardens on Wednesday, June 26th between 5 -7 PM. Subject: Lovely Kaffir Lilly Houseplants for Sale I have several newly potted (in glazed & terra cotta plots) what are called clivia miniata. White Flower Farms calls them the "perfect houseplant" because they are beautiful and indestructible. I have had the original plants for 30 years-they keep sending off new shoots that mature and can be repotted. The plants can flower twice a year/ beautiful clusters of orange flowers. Leaves are dark green and fanlike. Have seen them at Whole Foods recently. Mine are varying sizes from one to three in a pot. White Flower Farms charges $59 for one plant. Charging $30.
