Hi!!! I'm moving to Garfield Commons (very close to Highland Park). I'm renting a single family house and looking for 2 roommates to share rent and electric. The house is brand new and we will be the first tenants, it has wifi, electric range, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer, dryer and central air :) It's a 3 floor house. Hi neighbors I just wanted to share briefly about our experience with burglars over Easter. They struck while we were out of town with our dog and our housemate had just left too. They had to be watching. They were a team two guys. *And they got nothing!* because our neighbors (outside a block away) heard the door being kicked in and checked it out. They saw suspicious activity, confirmed with another neighbor that we were away, and called the cops. The police said over and over as the several neighbors confirmed what they saw, called us, helped clean up glass and secured our front door, "Boy, you have some great neighbors!" Amen. Highland Park and the East End is full of great observant neighbors, lets keep the art and power of great neighboring going! Nicole
