[Highland Park] free to good home - 32" round mirror

Hi All - we have a round mirror, 32" diameter, that was in our extra bathroom but we no longer need. It is in good shape, there is some slight scratching of the mirrored portion around the edge here and there. There is no backing; it was attached to the wall with simple holders. Hi neighbors, We will be putting out an 8' x 10' area rug on the sidewalk this evening (Saturday) for anyone to take. It is a neutral beige color that we had in our living room. [Highland Park] New local OPT grocery shopping group

OPT (Older Persons Transportation), a transportation service for people 60 and older, is trying to organize a grocery shopping group for the Highland Park area. For groups of at least 4 people, they offer door-to-door service and it only costs a dollar each way! The current plan is to go to the Shakespeare Giant Eagle and the Century III Wal-Mart, every other week. But we need a few more people participating to have a viable group. The OPT office asked me to put the word out about it, and then forward to them a list of those who would like to participate. [Highland Park] Brunton's milk coming back to Bryant Street Market

Howdy Folks, Starting Tuesday afternoon, we will be returning to Brunton's milk in the glass bottle. It only comes in half gallons and we will have four varieties. They will be whole, 2%, skim, and 1%. The cost is 3.25 ea. and the deposit on the bottle is 1.50. As you probably know, you pay the deposit up front, and when you bring back the bottle, you get the deposit back. It's hard for a small store to support so many vendors, but the Brunton's is a no-brainer. Less plastic to be recycled and great tasting milk. Turners half gallons will no longer be available.
