I used a very nice gentleman sometime ago to repair my dryer. I got his name off the listserv but I cannot find his card or information now. If someone has suggestions or knows of someone independent who can fix a washer/dryer, please let me know. My girlfriend has a rental and needs someone reliable and reasonable ASAP. We have multiple new trees donated to Highland Park through the Tree Pittsburgh street tree program. While the cost of the trees is donated through the program, the planting and initial maintenance is done by neighborhood volunteers. The Highland Park Tree Tenders are organizing a series of tree care events this spring, and the next one will be on Thursday April 25th, at 6pm. We'll meet at the corner of Stanton and Sheridan, and will be working on the trees along Stanton and Sheridan, removing weeds and dead branches, mulching and in general giving the trees some loving tender care. We'll meet rain or shine! >> >> Jake Milofsky, Tree Pittsburgh Stewardship Coordinator will be leading the session from 6 PM to 8 PM. Hi neighbors, I have a beautiful church pew for sale. Here are the stats: 6'9" long, 38 1/2" high and 22" deep. It has a slight curve to the back, so it does not stand flush to the wall. It's a beautiful and very functional piece of furniture, but it's time for a new home. Thanks! Beth
