I'm posting this for a young adult friend who has worked for me in various capacities in the past as an employee and volunteer. She has employment for the summer but is looking for some work between the time she comes home from school and the start of her summer joy working with children and youth. Sterns & Foster "Convertible Fashion Sofa. Handcrafted for fine quality." Queen size. This sofa is extremely comfy, both as a sofa, and as a bed (and I am usually VERY uncomfortable on sofa beds). Why are we getting rid of it? I love it. My partner doesn't. We're getting a futon. $100 or best offer. A note of warning: this thing is heavier than any piece of furniture I have ever moved. Dear Friends, To celebrate my 67th birthday please join me for the 4th Annual Susy's Birthday Benefit Concert on Friday, May 3rd at 7 PM at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 5801 Hampton St, 15206 in Highland Park. Reception to follow. This program is a memorial to Linda Fisher, Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra violinist, who recently lost a long and heroic battle with cancer. Leading by example, Linda dedicated her life to making beautiful music and sharing it with everyone, especially the youth of Pittsburgh. The funds raised from your freewill donations will 1) Benefit the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra (PSO) 2) Contribute to the St Andrew's Chorister' Summer Camp program 3) Provide scholarships for Pittsburgh collegiate composers, whose music is featured on this program 4) Support the mission of the Pittsburgh Festival Orchestra (PFO) The program includes performances of original compositions by University of Pittsburgh and Duquesne University composers and "When Soft Voices Die" for baritone and piano by Nancy Galbraith.
