My friend Jack is trying to find a home for his neighbor's cat. The owner went into a nursing home, and the cat, who is a very sweet female, misses her terribly and is very lonely. Jack has been taking care of the cat in the neighbor's home, but cannot keep her in his own home because his daughter is allergic. He wants to find this sweet kitty a forever home or at least a foster. We are unfortunately unable to keep her ourselves. Is there anyone out there who can help? I would like to echo what folks have said about Ginny Smiley and her business. She has been very affected by the PetSmart that opened, and is worried about the bridge closure. And, she does know her stuff! I have been a fan of the business since she was situated on Walnut Street and I moved to Pittsburgh in 1995. On top of carrying all kinds of great things, being able to help you out, order special items, deliver to your home... She also supports other local businesses and organizations.
