[Highland Park] Sewer gas smell?

Hi, We have noticed a smell of what we think is sewer gas in our bathroom, seemingly from the shower area. We also saw that there is work being done on Winterton at the Hampton intersection. We live very near there (on the 1100 block of Heberton St.) and are trying to narrow down if this is a problem just with our pipes of if it is from the work being done on the sewer drains in the street.
