We have 5 different versions of Monopoly all of which have either never been played or only played once or twice. They would make great Christmas presents for the game lover on your list. There is a Looney Tunes limited collectors edition, a World Cup France '98 edition, NASCAR official collectors' edition, Wizard of Oz collectors edition and a National Parks Edition (which is still in the original shrink wrap). Calling all musicians!! I am pleased to announce I will be hosting open mikes on Fridays, starting Nov 1st, at the Oh Yeah Ice Cream, Waffle and Coffee Shop, 232 S. Highland St., with, of course, brand new easy access via the bridge! We will start signing people up at 7:00 pm, and the music starts @ 7:30 until closing at 10:00. I will have a sound and PA system set up, just bring your instruments and voices. Come join us, have some coffee and dessert, and get your groove on or listen to the local talent! Hi highland Park! We just found a flea on our dogs bed. We gave him a front line a couple of weeks ago and are a bit mystified that he still has them. Can anyone suggest a good exterminator? We don't want to overreact, but we do want to make sure that this does not become a reoccurring problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Ava
