"Share the Road" means that both motor vehicles and cyclists have a legal right to use the road. It does not mean that cyclists must move over to the right every time a car or truck comes up behind them. There are many reasons why cyclists use the center or left portion of a lane including to avoid hazards such as potholes, broken glass, and the "door zone" of parked cars, and to be more visible while riding through intersections. Please consider these possibilities before you become irritated by a cyclist using the road in front of you. These cyclists were indeed breaking the law when they ran through a stop sign. But please don't single out cyclists. Motor vehicles are also required to come to a complete stop at stop signs.
