First of all, a huge thank you to the many who responded. Here's the results: GOOD RECOMMENDATIONS: Regency - 3 First Class - 3 Larry Waite (412/401-5466) - an independent driver who lives in HP Gateway - 2 Execucar - 1 I also heard from at least five neighbors who use the Super Shuttle and love it. With that service, they pick up a number of people so the trip will take longer. BAD RECOMMENDATIONS: One each for A Limo in Millvale and First Class Again, many thanks Neighbors! Dear Neighbors, My husband and I are searching for a part-time nanny starting at the beginning of October, on Wednesdays 8 a-6 p and Thursdays 10 a-8 p for an infant who will be 2.5 months old at that time. We would like care to be provided in our home in Stanton Heights by a kind and responsible adult. We are first-time parents and are looking for someone experienced with infants, who would care for our daughter with feeding expressed breast milk, soothing, and putting her down for naps. We are caring, professional adults in our mid-thirties who love living in Pittsburgh and look forward to getting to know our nanny as part of the family. Unfortunately, our schedule is not flexible. [Highland Park] research study opportunity

Hello neighbors, If you're interested in what high blood pressure might do to the brain, then we're doing a study involving brain imaging, cognitive testing, and biological measures. We are trying to determine if some of mild decreases in mental ability related to hypertension indicate that the brain is an early target of the disease. We need people (men and women between 35 and 60 years of age) whose blood pressure is not yet hypertensive and not low-between 120 and 140 mmHg systolic and/or 80 and 90 mmHg diastolic. If you're interested, we'd love to have you come in so we can check your blood pressure and possibly enroll you in the study. Those with the qualifying blood pressures are retested after two years. We provide $150 after both the initial and follow-up sessions. The study is done at the Oakland campus, Pitt.
